| PressureRandom Information that is
meaningless but hopefully entertaining...
Well I don't
have kids, I don't have any recent pics of myself that need
explaining, I am not in a relationship well I'm in tons of
relationships, (family, friends, coworkers, God) but I mean the guy
girl ones... Basically I don't have a lot to write about but
for some reason people demand I write, so here I am. Sure I
could be in bed enjoying a nice needed slumber but I choose to write
based solely on peer pressure. I'm 25, shouldn't that have gone
away by now?
That just reminded me I had a birthday...I must
say that I'm not overly concerned about making a big deal about my
birthday anymore but some people that I associate with (friends and
family) decided to have a three day celebration of my existence...it
was nice.
I ate dinner with the family courtesy of my
sister's unparalleled skillz in the kitchen (here is where I like to
go on about not knowing what happened to the girl that would not step
in the kitchen, but I refrain well I mean I did actually say it so
maybe I didn't refrain, the point is she is a force to be reckoned
with in the kitchen) Friday night was my
not-so-surprise-surprise birthday party at Circus Skate planned by
Brittany. It was a lot of fun, not many of the guys made the
big event but Stevo and Noah (not my nephew Noah) made it out to the
'big show'.
That place is a trip, It has been a
childhood dream of mine to visit the Circus Skate since I was a child
growing up in Southern Illinois and never being allowed to make the
'far drive to Murray' well upon living in the wonderful yet overtaxed
city of Murray for going on 4 years? maybe 3 I have finally
been....
I wish I was more brave but there were no medical
people on staff so I refrained from trying anything crazy on the
ramps and such, and I enjoyed heartily the yelling by the owner
towards the young children, and Ashley, on the PA system. I
must say that's the most gangsta slam rap I've heard in a long time
as well.
The point is it was fun and an experience that will
allow for many amusing conversations about the experience.
Well
I think I've reached the point of being long so I'll stop the typing
marathon and continue the saga of life that I lead. As for now
take care kids, and remember that signaling BEFORE the turn is
critical to highway safety...

| I don't usually care for forwards but I found this one to be really good so I will use my Xanga page to share it. Enjoy!
Enjoy
the Coffee...
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together
to visit their old university
professor.
Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and
life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and
returned with a large pot of coffee and an
assortment of cups - porcelain,
plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive,
some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.
After all
the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said,
"If you
noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up,
leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it's normal for you
to want only the best for yourselves,
that's the source of your problems
and stress. Be assured that in most cases the cup itself adds
no quality to the coffee, just more
expense, and in some cases it even
hides what we drink.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you
consciously went for the best cups ... and
then began eyeing each other's cups.
Now consider
this: Life is the coffee: the jobs, the money and the
position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and
contain Life. The type of cup we have does
not define nor change the quality of
Life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we
fail to enjoy the coffee.

| new stuff and life happeningsNew Stuff!
Well the latest and greatest in my adventures involve a new bike, I actually pick it up tomorrow morning so I don't have it yet per say but pending all of the planned events lining up it is mine. I just thought I would post some info on the machine for all of you that have been on the edge of your seats awaiting a new post.
It's a Kawasaki (my first Kawasaki) ZZR 600 and we will be giving rides for $20 per half/hour in order to pay for her. Sorry guys limited to female passengers because well taking guys is weird.
Otherwise it looks like I am going to have a Dodge Dakota for sale in the near future in order that I can drive the more fuel efficient Toyota Camry that I have acquired. Once she is in road worthy condition I'll be tying to squeeze some more miles out of that vehicle, it's already at 191K but I think I can get another 50-100K out of her ;)
Anymore I think I just enjoy the challenge of keeping something running more so that knowing I will get to where I would like to go. More recently I found a 1990 Ford Ranger to get me some mileage, I just bought it as an alternative to a trailer to haul the dirt bike on but being as if it gets some mad mileage, I've just been driving it everywhere!
Here she is...

I guess that's all I have for now, I was feeling the pressure to post some stuff, one of these days I'll write something meaningful, in the meantime I hope this is enough to get some people entertained.
